KABIR BAUG MATH SANSTHA
Kabir Baug Math Sanstha is a charitable trust to propagate activities of social and religious nature. Its history dates back to the Peshava era. The then Srimant Peshwa, ruler of the Maratha Kingdom, donated this land to one 'Kabir gosavi", to establish a Math of the Kabir Sect. Since then, this place was frequented by Sadhus and Sanyasis of this sect. The last head of this Math, was the late Shri Parakh Maharaj. Having no legal heir, he transformed this property to a Public Charitable Trust, after which this place came to be known as the Kabir Baug Math Sanstha. It was registered under the Public Charitable Trust Act Maharashtra State (Rg. No. A539).

In 1989, Dr. S. V. Karandikar, founded a medical yoga institute by the name of "Sunderraj Yoga Darshan", now known as Sun-Jeevan Yoga Darshan. Sun being PINGALA (Transgression) & Jeevan being Moon, IDA (defence mechanism of body). This project is an offshoot of the Kabir Baug Math Sanstha, and was named Manav Sansadhan Vikas Ani Sanshodhan Manch. It was registered under the Public Charitable Trust Act of Maharashtra State (Rg. No. E 1614). This trust has five members, of whom Dr. S. V. Karandikar is the Chairperson.
